Takács Quartet
Joseph Haydn Streichquartett g-Moll op. 74 Nr. 3 Hob III:74 („Reiterquartett“) Clarice Assad „Nexus“ für Streichquartett Pause Claude Debussy Streichquartett g-Moll op. 10

From Budapest to Boulder, Colorado: The Takács Quartet was founded in 1975 by four students at the Budapest Academy of Music and moved to the US with their families in 1983. Of the founding members, only cellist András Fejér has remained in the ensemble to this day, while the other positions have since been filled by musicians from the UK and the US. Their repertoire covers the entire history of the genre. They will perform one of Haydn's famous string quartets, Claude Debussy's only composition for string quartet from 1893 and a piece written for them by Brazilian-American composer, pianist, and singer Clarice Assad.
