Wandelkonzert durch drei Säle

Eröffnung Festival nowHERE mit dem Konzerthausorchester Berlin & Vimbayi Kaziboni
Konzerthausorchester Berlin Vimbayi Kaziboni Conductor

Listening mindfully and connecting deeply with an acoustic environment – who wouldn’t want to experience that when attending a concert? In a pre-concert workshop, you can learn about “Deep Listening” using the method developed by composer and musicologist Pauline Oliveros, and then try it out straight away. Afterwards, 88 members of our orchestra will mingle with the audience in the Great Hall for “Terretektorh” – a spectacular, rarely performed work that, in the words of composer Iannis Xenakis, “envelops you in sound and music and creates physical closeness”. And when, afterwards, the strings and brass invite you to an intuitive connection with Ralph Vaughan Williams and Thomas Tallis in the dimmed Small Hall, whilst the beats get right into your body in the Werner-Otto-Hall – then the opening of the nowHere festival could really get under your skin!
