Now here

A collaborative festival celebrating sound, from 13 to 21 November 2026

Every concert is an immediate physical experience. The new NOW HERE festival brings this into sharp focus and allows it to be experienced with particular intensity – by breaking away from familiar settings and routines, through the visual design of the sound spaces, and via preparatory workshops before the concert.&

To this end, the Konzerthaus and the Konzerthaus Orchestra are joining forces with the independent collective Detect Sounds, which has been bringing together classical, electronic and experimental music scenes on the outskirts of Berlin since 2018 with the Detect Classic Festival.& nbsp;

Standing up, Igor Stravinsky’s “Le Sacre du Printemps”, with its polyrhythms, gets into your legs and flows quite naturally into an improvised live electronic set.& nbsp;Featuring performers from Berlin’s voguing scene, a song recital explores the physical expression of sexuality and sensuality, before Latin American -inspired melodies encourage the audience to sing along.

In the fairy-tale play, in collaboration with the Thikwa Theatre, where artists with and without disabilities perform together, the whole body is put to use.

A jointly curated day with IÇ IÇE, a platform for new Anatolian music and post-migrant perspectives, creates further space for exchange, empowerment and music from Berlin in the here and now.

In collaboration with Detect Sounds and IÇ IÇE, the festival for new Anatolian music.
