In season#31 we are going on a world tour! First, we'll introduce you to the Konzerthaus's newly founded Youth Advisory Board and some of its members. Then, together with Ole, Anna, Sarah and Anny, we set off: we fly to South Africa, the home country of KHO violinist Avigail Bushakevitz, and learn a Xhosa song; we visit Turkey, the country where KHO solo horn player Cenk Sahin grew up, and learn about the musical diversity there. In a whirlwind tour around the globe, we make a stopover in Japan and finally return to Berlin, where solo tuba player Michael Vogt, in the year of the tuba – with the instrument invented in Berlin – is already waiting for us ... Pack your bags!

As the first symphony orchestra, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin started an interactive livestream series on the gaming platform twitch in April 2021.The monthly two-hour livestreams are called „Spielzeit" and had 1.34 million views so far. For an average of 3.000 viewers, members of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin play music, explain their instruments and offer glimpses into their professional daily life.
