Konzerthausorchester Berlin François Leleux Conductor Clara Andrada Flute
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Ouvertüre zur Oper „Don Giovanni“ KV 527 Antonio Salieri Konzert für Flöte, Oboe und Orchester C-Dur Pause Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Arien aus den Opern „Don Giovanni“ KV 527 und „Die Zauberflöte“ KV 620, bearbeitet für Oboe und Orchester Georges Bizet Sinfonie Nr. 1 C-Dur

Pianists or concertmasters who conduct an orchestra with a Viennese Classical programme from the first violin desk can be experienced regularly. But an oboist who also takes on the role of conductor is a rarity. All the more reason to look forward to François Leleux's debut with the Konzerthausorchester: he is not only a superstar of the „singing reed“, but also a much sought-after conductor in the chamber orchestra scene. The Frenchman has brought virtuoso arias from two Mozart operas arranged for oboe and a double concerto by Salieri, for which he shares the solo desk with Clara Andrada, principal flutist of the hr-Sinfonieorchester and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. George Bizet, who wrote a perfectly formed first symphony at the age of 17, then fits beautifully at the end of a programme that otherwise revolves around Mozart, the most famous child prodigy in music history.
