Start your New Year's Eve fireworks in a musical way with us in the Große Saal - with the Konzerthausorchester, our chief conductor Joana Mallwitz, the celebrated young mezzo-soprano Lea Desandre as soloist and orchestral pieces as well as arias from early baroque to modern: Monteverdi and Offenbach accompany Opheus to the underworld, Mozart and Rossini are all about Figaro and the Barber, Prokofiev and Gounod take you to medieval Verona to the Montagues and Capulets, and the rousing melodies in Leonard Bernstein's no less dramatic musical love story „West Side Story“ accompany you into the year 2024!
