„Tuba, Lieder, Blasmusik und Sinfonien“ - Werke von Heinrich Schütz, Samuel Scheidt, Albrecht Kasimir Bölckow, Annette Schlünz und Michael Vogt (unter anderem mit einer Uraufführung)

With "Tuba, Songs, Brass Music & Symphonies", he can „satisfy four passions at once,“ summarises our principal tuba player Michael Vogt. He has also worked as a solo musician for years, numerous pieces have been dedicated to him. He himself has composed many works as well - from songs for tuba and voice to a work for four woodwinds, four brass instruments and two singers to symphonies: „However, my symphonies sometimes last two minutes, sometimes twelve! I'm trying to revive the early Baroque sinfonia, which was always such a short piece. We also play the models, for example by Heinrich Schütz.“

15 musicians - mostly colleagues from the KHO - and singers celebrate the „Year of the Tuba“ in the Kleine Saal. A special guest is chansonnier Hans-Eckhart Wenzel, with whom Michael Vogt has been friends for 40 years and whose texts, such as „Das kleine Meertagebuch“ (The Little Sea Diary), have repeatedly inspired his compositions.
