When German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott invites us into her universe, one of her most important companions cannot be missing: Francesco Tristano, also a pianist, is coming to Berlin for this evening with music that is particularly important to her. Then it's off to Japan: three-star chef Tohru Nakamura attended the same Japanese Saturday school as our artist in residence. How did the balancing act between German and Japanese culture influence the lives and careers of both of them? What do good music and good food have in common? Alice and Tohru will discuss that on this evening, which will also feature four-handed piano playing with Francesco Tristano and a little bowl of miso soup for everyone!
