Have you missed our former Artists in Residence Arthur and Lucas Jussen? They are finally returning to us – this time with the highly renowned Academy of St Martin in the Fields, with whom they have been collaborating regularly since 2015. On the programme: Mozart's cheerful and playful concerto for three pianos, which he first composed for Countess Maria Antonia Lodron and her two daughters and later revised for two pianos – tailor-made for Arthur and Lucas, who will be performing this version. The two Dutch musicians also take a detour into the Baroque era with Johann Sebastian Bach's lively Double Concerto in C major, but otherwise the evening remains literally classical with further works by Beethoven and Mozart and the outstanding musicians of the ASMF.
