Is there an instrument other than your own that you would like to master?

I would like to play the cello. But only if I didn’t have to practise...

What do you do before a concert?

Eat and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Which concert with the Konzerthausorchester was a special emotional experience for you?

It’s hard to name just one. But it was certainly one of my first concerts with Iván Fischer. This was the first time I had the feeling that we were able to exploit the enormous potential of our orchestra and make music that was full of confidence and passion. That was both liberating and beautiful.
