What do you enjoy most about being an orchestral musician?

That you can always discover new pieces and it’s still a lot of fun when you play something you already know.

What would you be doing if you hadn’t become a musician?

I wanted to become a pilot, but music appealed to me so much that later I didn’t give a second thought as to whether it was the right decision or not.

What is particularly appealing to you about playing the violin?

The endless choice of pieces and instrumentations and the possibilities that the violin offers. And above all, that you can never say that there is nothing interesting left to play :)
