The young pianist Tom Borrow will be a guest soloist with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin for the first time, performing Mozart's Piano Concerto in A major from 1786. We continue with Haydn: his 92nd Symphony owes its academic epithet to the claim that it was first played in 1798 for the award of an honorary doctorate to the composer by Oxford University.
