Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Joana Mallwitz
Marcel Beyer's poems are „information bombs“ full of references to literature, music and society: Colonel Kurtz from „Apocalypse Now“, intoxicated with T. S. Eliot, meets staid „semi-detached house faces“, Eminem's alter ego „Slim Shady“ meets a depressing description of the place where Osama bin Laden was discovered and killed. Ensemble unitedberlin presents a concert reading by the poet from his collections „Graphit“ and „Dämonenräumdienst“, settings of his works and pieces by Frank Zappa.
