With Interzones, the ensemble Berlin PianoPercussion presents a concert project dedicated to the transitional zones between sound and silence, image and time. The term Interzone refers to places in between – threshold spaces where opposites overlap and new meanings emerge. This concert project sees itself as an acoustic cartography of such transitions. Three world premieres meet two established works of recent modernism.
