The colorful, tone-painting works are almost always about depictions of nature - naturally intended as a symbol of human life. “Take comfort, earth, nature ..., winter is a sleep and not death. Spring returns ..., man grows old and dies; but you, you do not grow old,” says her piece ‘Soleils de Septembre’, based on a text by Auguste Lacaussade. It is wonderful that Berlin choir singers are keeping the music of the composer, who died young, alive.
