What do you enjoy most about being an orchestral musician?

The conversation with the instrument and the feeling of a strong invisible connection with other musicians who play masterpieces of orchestral music and are driven by the same passion and the same musical desire.

Is there an instrument other than your own that you would like to master?

The piano! It would be wonderful if I could play works by Schubert like Radu Lupu.

Which favourite place in Berlin do you recommend when you have visitors?

In spring and summer, the Liebermann Villa on Wannsee. In winter, the Gendarmenmarkt.
