Espresso-Konzert mit dem Konzerthausorchester
Andreas Feldmann completed his studies at the Berlin University of the Arts. A prize-winner of numerous competitions, he has played as a soloist with orchestras such as the Göttinger Symphoniker, the Thüringische Philharmonie or the Philharmonie Südwestfalen and regularly performs chamber music at major festivals. Andreas Feldmann is a member of the current orchestra board and also on the board of the Konzerthaus Chamber Orchestra.
Since my early youth and wonderful first experiences in the Federal Youth Orchestra, I have been inspired by the wide-ranging symphonic repertoire and the possibility of creating special moments together with other musicians and motivating one another in every single concert.
There were certainly some impressive moments with the orchestra for me, but the performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 with Iván Fischer is the one that has stayed with me the most. Especially the calmness and the collective “holding of breath” (together with the audience) after one of the most gigantic conclusions in the classical repertoire – a true goosebump moment!
