Pablo Santa Cruz studied at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, with Duncan McTier at the Reina Sofía School Of Music in Madrid and with Esko Laine at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music. He was a scholarship holder at the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra with Janne Saksala. Before joining the Konzerthausorchester, he had a temporary contract with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
