Espresso-Konzert mit dem Konzerthausorchester
Dmitry Babanov studied in St. Petersburg with Vitaly Bujanovsky and in Frankfurt (Main) with Marie-Luise Neunecker. He was a prize-winner at the Markneukirchen International Music Competition and won second prize at the renowned ARD Competition with the Chantily Quintet in 2006. His chamber music groups include the Scharoun Ensemble. Before joining the Konzerthausorchester, he was principal French horn in the Halle Philharmonic State Orchestra from 1999. Dmitry Babanov holds a teaching position at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin.
