Award-winning jazz saxophonist, bandleader, actor, composer – and equally at home in the classical world: Branford Marsalis switches effortlessly between roles and musical worlds. He’ll be performing for us with, amongst other things, a new work by Jeff Beal, who is known for composing the soundtracks for the TV series Monk and House of Cards. The self-organised Orpheus Chamber Orchestra will also be performing works by Duke Ellington and George Gershwin, guaranteeing great entertainment that bridges the gap between classical music and jazz.
