What do you enjoy most about being an orchestral musician?

I think working in an orchestra is great because it allows me to live out my hobby and my dream in the same job! It’s a gift to sit in the middle of an orchestra, make music with so many different people and keep discovering new things at every rehearsal and every concert. Every single note, every musical statement is irretrievable and therefore unique.

Which favourite place in Berlin do you recommend when you have visitors?

Georgian cuisine at Schwiliko in Schlesische Straße and Nepalese cuisine at Mitho Cha in Rykestraße. And on Saturdays, a little shopping tour at the farmers’ market on Kollwitzplatz!
