Markolf Ehrig studied in Weimar. Before joining the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, he was a member of the first violins of the Händelfestspielorchester Halle (Saale).
Which concert with the Konzerthausorchester was a special emotional experience for you?
I have fond memories of the concert our orchestra performed on 3 October 1990 to celebrate German reunification.
Which favourite place in Berlin do you recommend when you have visitors?
The “open” Brandenburg Gate.
