Which other instrument besides your own would you like to master?

When I’m not playing the violin, I love to sing. I also love to play the organ.

Is there a musical or humanistic personality who has made a deep impression on you?

Estrongo Nachama embodies both for me! Born in Thessaloniki in 1918, he was the chief cantor of the Jewish community in Berlin from 1947 to 2000.

Which favourite place in Berlin do you recommend when you have visitors?

The Konzerthaus, of course. And the Museumsinsel.

What is your favourite dish, where do you eat it in Berlin, or do you cook it yourself?

My favourite food is Italian. Here is a menu I like to prepare myself:

Mozzarella salad
Spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino
Baked artichokes à la “Nona Beta“
Pane Romano
Grilled gilthead seabream
Zabaione
