Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Pablo Heras-Casado

Kurzkonzert am frühen Abend
Konzerthausorchester Berlin Pablo Heras-Casado Conductor
Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy „Das Märchen von der schönen Melusine“ - Konzertouvertüre F-Dur op. 32 Robert Schumann Sinfonie Nr. 3 Es-Dur op. 97 („Rheinische“)

Pablo Heras-Casado and the Konzerthausorchester Berlin transport you to the 19th century for this compact concert, which starts at 6.30 pm and has no intermission. It will not only be romantic, but also suffused with water: featuring Felix Mendelssohn’s overture to the tragic and beautiful mermaid Melusine from 1833 and the famous “Rhenish” by Robert Schumann, which premiered in February 1851. Afterwards, with land firmly under your feet, the evening on Gendarmenmarkt is still young!
