Our musicians come together regularly not only in large symphonic ensembles, but also as the Konzerthaus Chamber Orchestra. They select the pieces and instrumentation for their concerts themselves. In addition to our own first concertmasters, guests also lead the Chamber Orchestra from time to time – in this case, the concertmaster of the renowned Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Bernhard Forck, with a purely Baroque programme. The flutes add a special colour to the string ensemble: Bach's famous Ouverture BWV 1067 allows you to enjoy our principal flutist's Yubeen Kim stunning mastery of the instrument. As second flute, Yeseul Bahng joins him in two further pieces.
