With the Orchestre de Berlin, they pay tribute to Ursula Mamlok on her 100th birthday.
Born in Berlin, she fled Nazi persecution in 1939 and spent 66 years working in the USA. She spent the last years of her life back in Berlin. Haydn's sense of virtuosity and transparency and Brahms' concentrated tonal language acted as models for her.
