This season the Konzerthausorchester Berlin will again be on tour at home and abroad: after a guest performance at the Brucknerfest Linz under Eliahu Inbal in September, it will travel to Bruges and Antwerp in November with conductor Michael Sanderling and violinist Noa Wildschut. In February, two predominantly Russian programmes with Dimitrij Kitajenko and Gabriel Bebeselea will be performed at the Großes Festspielhaus in Salzburg as well as in Rotterdam and Eindhoven. Towards the end of the 2019/20 season, Chief Conductor Christoph Eschenbach will be on tour with his orchestra: Brahms' Second Symphony, a world premiere by Christian Mason and the cello concertos by Haydn (No. 1) and Schumann with soloists Kian Soltani and Daniel Müller Schott will be heard at the Konzerthaus Dortmund, the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie and the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
